Here are some common questions about FanTogether. We've compiled quick answers to help you get started engaging with the community and understand our platform better.
Q: What is FanTogether, and how is it different from social media?
A: FanTogether is built for music fans, by music fans. Unlike big social platforms, everything here revolves around live shows, playlists, and your music + social profile. It's about connection, not algorithms.
Q: Do I have to pay to join?
A: Right now, no. FanTogether is in Beta, free for early members. Later this year, we'll launch exclusive paid tiers with perks like early ticket access, premium artist features, and partner discounts.
Q: Can I text photos, videos and other music content to the FanTogether community?
A: Yes! You can text photos, videos, and music links directly to FanTogether. We'll post them into the community so your fellow fans can see, comment, and share. Use hashtags to organize by Artist, Venue, location and to FanTogether members.
Q: How do I opt in to send or receive SMS messages with FanTogether?
A: To keep everything safe and compliant, we require SMS opt-in. Users opt in by texting the keyword JOIN to our number. Text JOIN to +1-866-965-4703 to receive FanTogether event updates and post content to the community. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Privacy Policy: https://fantogether.app/privacy. FanTogether is operated by Cloud Free, LLC.
Q: How does the ticket exchange work?
A: The ticket exchange is a premium member benefit (coming post-Beta). Fans connect in channels to post when they're looking for or offering extra tickets. Members then message directly through the app to swap, sell, or even gift tickets — always at their own negotiated terms. Sometimes fans trade for future shows. FanTogether never charges transaction fees — this is a member benefit, not a business model.
Q: What are Artist Channels?
A: Artist Channels are dedicated spaces for your favorite bands — starting with Phish, Goose, Grateful Dead, and Dave Matthews Band. They include tour info, ticket swaps, fan chats, and galleries of photos and videos from shows.
Q: How does playlist sharing work?
A: Drop a Spotify playlist, or link to another platform, and FanTogether will surface your overlap with other members. It's one of the best ways to discover new music and make connections with people who share your vibe.
Q: Where is FanTogether available?
A: FanTogether launched in Atlanta, and we're building waitlists in Boston, Nashville, Asheville, Denver, Chicago, and New Orleans. More cities are coming soon — you can join from anywhere, but these hubs will have the strongest communities first.
